A Blind Understanding is a radio play by R.C. Scriven. It was first broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on 04 October 1977, to celebrate Scriven's 70th birthday[1].

Scriven's autobiographical play in verse about undergoing operations in an attempt to restore his failing eyesight. Subtitled "an attempt to justify man's way to man."
