Harold Pinter, CH, CBE (10 October 1930 – 24 December 2008), was an English playwright, screenwriter, actor, theatre director, poet, political activist, cricket enthusiast, and Nobel laureate. Most famous for his writing for the stage, he has also written and acted in notable radio productions. In addition, many of his plays have been adapted for the radio.
