Summary[]

The sixth of Henry Reed's radio plays about the characters surrounding the imaginary writer Richard Shewin and the "lady music-writer" Hilda Tablet. In this case, General Gland is the main character.
The composer Donald Swann appears in a speaking role in this play and also translated the dialogue into Russian for Reed.
