Steve Walker is a writer and artist. Born in Gateshead in 1956[1], Walker has written novels, poetry, radio plays, and scripts for television. He is also an accomplished artist, and lives in France[2].
Radio Career[]
Steve Walker's first work for radio was Him and It in 1988. It was followed by The Pope's Brother and later Mickey Mookey which both won Giles Cooper Awards, in 1990 and 1991 respectively.
