The Peacock Screamed One Morning is a radio play by R.C. Scriven. It was first broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on 25 March 1970[1].

Plot[]

Autobiographical verse play. Ronald and his brother board with a stern farmer and her husband during the First World War. Their mother is gravely ill and their father is in combat overseas.
