Summary[]
In a bitter struggle for absolute power, three single minded and self-centred men drag their country into bloody civil war. In Henrik Ibsen’s The Pretenders, none of the men truly understands the nature of selfless, unquestioning love exemplified by their long-suffering womenfolk.
